The amazing Prime Football Coaching at Rocken Glen is supporting us again this Summer, this weeks camp allows families and young people to bring a food donation for East Renfrewshire Foodbank.

A huge thank you to the young people and families and of course Craig Watson of Prime Football Coaching for organising these donations over the Summer.

Tomorrow camp 4/7 of the 2026 Summer Schedule kicks off - The France Week ⚽️

This will be the second of three Charity Camps that we are running throughout the holidays. We will be supporting the amazing Trussell .

All food & toiletry donations brought this week will be greatly appreciated and will go towards families in need across the southside 🙏

EVERY SINGLE TIN, PACKET AND DONATION MAKES A DIFFERENCE - going into our parcels that feed families for 3 + days with extras like toiletries

Tinned meat, tuna, tinned peas, potatoes, sweetcorn, tinned spaghetti, baked beans, tinned fruit, custard, rice pudding
Juice, tea, coffee, biscuits, toiletries

THANK YOU YORKSHIRE BUILDING SOCIETY!

Not long ago one of our supporters put our Foodbank in for a charity award to YORKSHIRE BUILDING SOCIETY…

and we WON a Grant of £2,500 from YBS Charitable Foundation!!!

A special thank you to our supporter and of course Yorkshire Building Society…VERY much appreciated!

Did you know...despite regular food donations from 4 supermarkets, plus churches, community groups and individuals, East Renfrewshire Foodbank purchases stock every single week - to keep up with the demand? We provide 3 Foodbanks serving throughout the area - Barrhead, Busby and Thornliebank and demand is high.

Two weeks ago we served 42 clients in 2 hours, we think our highest ever busiest day since 2013.

The grant won will be a HUGE help to purchasing needed stock over the next 3-4weeks.

Please also consider donating food to us at Tesco & Asda Barrhead or Waitrose & Asda, Newton Mearns or at our Collection Point at Citizens Advice @ the Avenue, N. Mearns.

We've been a little quiet on Facebook for the last while because our teams in Barrhead, Thornliebank and Busby have been kept super busy lately....but it's time for some THANK YOU's!

Here's our first with our heartfelt Thanks to OLM Football Team who have supported us in the past, THIS TIME RAISING A PHENOMENAL £1,568.15!!!

This will be a fantastic support to help us buy needed stock (which we do regularly) to top up our regular food donations.
