Tomorrow is International Recruiters Day, so today is when you decide how you are going to celebrate.

All over the recruiting world on this day teams of frontline recruiters, in staffing agencies, and in talent acquisition, are meeting up in-person or online, getting the beers and pizza, telling tales of heroic hiring, changing markets, and disastrous interviews. We recognise that we are the oil in the gears of industry; we help to maintain the circulation of great people to fantastic careers, and building amazing organisations. We touch the lives of millions, and we are allowed just a little satisfaction from that.

Can I remind you all that this week has the twelfth annual International Recruiters Day on Thursday 6th April.

This is an opportunity to celebrate the work of front line recruiters and TA professionals. Get some beers and cake for tge office, share daft or dramatic stories, and take a moment to recognise the impact we make on the lives of so many.

We take the work seriously, but not necessarily ourselves.

We’d be grateful for any contributions for the website, in the form of blogs and videos, and ask you to post using the hashtag .

We already have APSCO, TEAM, and the REC involved, so please add whatever you can.
