Position: Punch Laser Operative
Location: Preston
Pay Rate: £14.00 - £16.00+ per hour
Hours: Full-Time – 40 Hours Per Week

We are currently recruiting for a Punch Laser Operative on behalf of a well-established client based in Preston. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced and reliable individual looking to join a busy manufacturing environment. This role offers a temp-to-perm opportunity for the right candidate.

The site is well connected by public transport, making it easily accessible without the need for driving.

Key Responsibilities:
Operating punch and laser machinery safely and efficiently
Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and specifications
Setting up and adjusting machine settings for production runs
Ensuring products meet quality standards and measurements
Performing routine machine checks and basic maintenance
Working to production targets and deadlines
Loading and unloading materials onto machinery
Maintaining a clean and safe working environment
Following all health and safety procedures at all times

Requirements:
Previous Punch / Laser / Sheet Metal / Manufacturing experience essential
Quality Assurance (QA) awareness and strong attention to detail
Ability to read technical drawings preferred
Good understanding of workshop health and safety procedures
Reliable with a strong work ethic
Able to work independently and as part of a team
Good communication skills
Commitment to maintaining high production standards

Position: Rock Candy Operative
Location: Blackpool
Contract Type: Temp to Perm
Pay Rate: £13.50 per hour

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with previous production or factory experience looking for stable, long-term work with a well-established company.

Duties:
• Assisting in the production and packaging of rock candy products
• Operating and monitoring machinery
• Quality checking products to ensure high standards
• Keeping the work area clean and organised

Routine maintenance & servicing of HGVs
MOT preparation & inspections
