PURPOSE
To assist in the preparation of a range of cabins prior to them going out on hire.

Reporting structure
Reporting to the Fitter Team Lead Working within a small team in the depot.

Main responsibilities
•Cleaning of units and fittings internally and externally.
•To have a good mix of general maintenance skills
•To have a basic knowledge of power tools
•Be able to complete external lock fitting
•To be able to complete exterior door fitting
•To be able to repair and replace wall and ceiling boards
•To be able to fit Partitions
•To be able to fit final trim
•To be able to replace plywood flooring
•To be able to remove / fit wall and ceiling panels
•To be able to fit travel panels
•To be able to complete break in and door lock repairs
•To complete vinyl floor covering installation and repairs
•To be able to fit sinks, taps and worktops
•Have a basic understanding of plumbing circuits/systems

Job experience & skills requirements
•Basic understanding and acceptance of Health & Safety rules.
•Good mix of general maintenance skills.
•Competent in the use of basic hand/power tools.
•Certificates in MPBA or ECA Nice to have but training will be given: •Abrasive Wheels •COSH •Manual handling

Our client is an independent consulting and project management organization that:
· Designs and delivers efficient low-carbon energy schemes that help clients achieve zero carbon status.
· Guides clients through a step-by-step risk-reduction process, so that they don’t waste money or time on costly mistakes or dead ends.
· Is independent, so can be truly impartial and focus on finding the right solution for each client.

The Project Manager is responsible for delivery of the low carbon projects that arise from the step-by-step risk reduction process.
- Managing the delivery of the projects (This is not a site-manager role).
- Ensuring projects are completed to meet specified requirements and any outstanding tasks are closed.

Essential Qualities:
· Demonstrable management experience.
· Energetic and capable of operating on own initiative and driving events.
· Logical and pragmatic with a practical bent,
· Confidence in dealing with people at all levels including senior client representatives.
· Technically competent.
· Excellent communications skills, including the ability to write clear, logical English and liaise confidently and succinctly with clients.
· Financially and commercially aware.
Competent with IT and fully conversant with common packages such as Microsoft 365.
· Ability to drive to client sites.

Highly Desirable Qualities & Experience:
· Relevant project management experience.
· Commercial / business experience.
· Knowledge of the renewables market and associated technologies. Ideally with a qualification in renewable, environmental, mechanical or electrical engineering.
