Counterbalance Forklift Driver, PPT & Warehouse
Our client based in Tottenham is seeking experienced Counterbalance Forklift driver to join their friendly team.
We are looking for someone with experience working within a warehouse environment that holds a valid certificate for Counterbalance forklift by a recognised training body, we cannot accept in-house certificates. They are a busy mailing department and you will be responsible for internal stock movement using counterbalance forklift and powered pallet trucks, you will be required to assist in the warehouse with ad hoc duties when stock movement not required.
Experience of working in a fast-paced environment is paramount along with a proven work history of fork truck use.
Candidate requirements:
β Counterbalance Forklift certificate and at least 4 yearsβ experience
β Experience operating a powered pump truck (PPT) and at least 3 yearsβ experience
β Able to work both independently and as part of the team
β Be self-motivated and highly organized with good attention to detail
β Be quality conscious and efficient with good communication skills
β Previous experience working in a warehouse environment
β Awareness of Health & Safety
β Good level of English
β Team player that works well with others
β Committed and reliable
β Must be physically fit as lifting will be involved
β Must have safety shoes/boots and hi-vis vest
Shift: Monday to Friday 7am - 3.30pm
!* Please note: * The initial training will be provided on 10.30am β 7pm for 2-3 days.
Hourly rate Β£13.97

Operations Support Agent, Transport Administrator & Warehouse
We have an exciting opportunity to join a well-known distribution company based in Crayford. We have an opening available for capable capable, energetic Operational Support Agent to join their friendly team on a permanent basis.
The main duties of this role will be answering phones, liaise with customers and drivers, responding to parcel enquiries, and driver debrief. as well as helping within warehouse department (scanning and picking). You will offer support to their transport team whilst contributing to the day-to-day running of the department.
What you will be doing:
β Ensuring that customers' urgent packages get to the right place, on time
β Answering incoming calls from customers in relation to shipment collection requests and delivery inquiries
β Checking and investigating failed shipments deliveries or collections when needed; prioritising and reallocating any failed deliveries for the next day delivery
β Entering data into client's in-house tracking system
β Running clear and effective communication and collaboration with the team, your manager, and other operations stations
β Adhering to client's processes, procedures and controls, and regulatory requirements
β The Moving of and Scanning of Packages within a warehouse environment to enable visibility for team members and customers

Hourly pay rate Β£13.42
Shift is Monday to Friday, 9am-6pm

This role is permanent after 12 weeks subject to satisfactory performance and attendance.
