Talking Cyber Webinar Update - New Date: Thursday 18th June

It turns out that summer colds don't care about your calendar. 🤧

Our speaker Luke Bird has been struck down by illness, so we're moving our webinar from today to Thursday 18th June to give him the time he needs to recover properly.

The interest and sign-ups have been brilliant. All registered attendees have been sent an updated invite via Zoom, look out for that in your emails.

We wish Luke a speedy recovery (and a strong cup of tea!)

We hope to see you there on the 18th June! 🙌

TWO DAYS TO GO!

Why should businesses care about bridging IT, cyber security and the wider organisation?

Because when these functions operate in silos, it can lead to misaligned priorities, increased risk and missed opportunities for growth. True business resilience comes from alignment, where security supports innovation and IT enables strategic outcomes.

Don’t miss our first webinar in the Talking Cyber series on 4th June 👇️

Q1 Award Winners!

A massive well done to all our Q1 award winners from across the Taranata Group. Throughout Q1 you have gone above and beyond, delivering to clients, candidates and colleagues.

⭐ Special Recognition - Kadie Redpath and Samantha Keith
⭐ Top Sales Performers - Keith Patterson and Vicki McLaren
⭐ Collaboration Champions - Charlie Wood and Lesley Shepherd

For those who know Keith, he's the one cycling in the pictures! At the time of the awards Keith was taking part in the Traka gravel race, a 560km loop through the Pyrenees mountains and Catalonia villages, a gruelling route with an over 30,000ft elevation. This deserves it’s a whole other award!

A huge thank you to our team for all their efforts in the first quarter of 2026, we're excited for what's to come.

We made it!

Because after all that effort, everyone deserved a break so we wrapped up our Race to Paris step challenge by making sure everyone got a KitKat.

All four teams from across the Taranata Group made it to Paris well before the end of April deadline, but a massive congratulations goes to ‘Baguette Off, We’re Winning’ (winners pictured, minus Andy) for taking the top spot, with ‘Pain au Walkers’ as runners up, followed by ‘Tour Tae France’ and ‘Pas de Nom’.

Special shout out to Mariola, Josh, Andy and Roya for going over and above with 40k+ steps in a single day for their respective teams, wow! We probably owe you all a new pair of trainers!

Thanks to everyone who took part, shared updates and kept the momentum going throughout the month. A brilliant team effort.

We’re always looking for new health and wellbeing ideas – please let us know if you have any ideas.

We’re powering through the steps with our four teams from across the Taranata Group already hitting some fantastic milestones.

The ‘Baguette Off, We’re Winning’ Team were the first to reach Newcastle clocking up 450,000 steps and earning themselves a well deserved reward of Mini Eggs. Well done to Mitesh, Lesley, Josh, Gillian, Scott, Andy and Mariola!

However, the ‘Pain au Walkers’ team were not to be outdone and powered on, reaching Cambridge on Saturday! Well done to Roya, Emma, Lyle, Toni, Brian, Lisa and Gary.

The competition is well and truly heating up. You know who you are 😊

Next stop Calais at 1.35 million steps!

We’re back at it! After the success (and surprising competitiveness!) of last year’s fitness challenges, Head Resourcing is kicking off 2026 with our biggest step challenge yet.

This April, we’re joining colleagues across the Group for a virtual journey all the way from Edinburgh to Paris — 870km or 1.8 million steps in 30 days.

And don’t worry… this trip to Paris is strictly virtual, no flights are being booked, no need to find passports, and absolutely no one is expensing a croissant.

We’ve set the teams out and mapped out the milestone checkpoints along the route, now it’s time to move;
📍 Edinburgh (Start)
📍 Newcastle — 450,000 steps
📍 Cambridge — 900,000 steps
📍 Calais — 1,350,000 steps
📍 Paris — 1,800,000 steps – finish line!

Prizes will be handed out along the way, starting with the race to Newcastle!

Good luck to everyone taking part!
