We're proud to share that recycling our old IT equipment has allowed us to donate over £1,000 to charity, split equally between Alzheimer Scotland and Children's Hospices Across Scotland (CHAS), two remarkable charities doing vital work across Scotland.

Alzheimer Scotland is the leading dementia support organisation in the country, providing care and campaigning for those affected. CHAS support children and families in life, death and beyond, from the moment they learn the devastating news that their child is seriously ill and may die young.

Turning end-of-life tech into real community impact felt like exactly the right thing to do and extra special to support two charities who we have supported for many years.

We're grateful to everyone in our team who made this happen — and to the incredible people at both charities who do what they do every day.

Who doesn't love a KitKat! And after a big month of steps everyone well and truly deserved their KitKat break.

Brands from across the Taranata Group took part in the Race to Paris challenge with every team reaching the finish line well before the end of April deadline.

A massive congratulations to ‘Baguette Off, We’re Winning’ for taking the top spot, with ‘Pain au Walkers’ as runners up, followed by ‘Tour Tae France’ and ‘Pas de Nom’ close behind.

Special shout out to Mariola Kopa, Josh Ryder, Andrew Short and Roya Manouchehri for going above and beyond with 40k+ steps in a single day for their respective teams, what an amazing effort.

Thanks to everyone who took part and kept the motivation going all month. A brilliant team challenge from start to finish.

We’re powering through the steps as part of the Taranata Group’s Race to Paris, with colleagues from across the Group already hitting some brilliant milestones.

A big well done to the ‘Baguette Off, We’re Winning’ team, who were the first to reach Newcastle, clocking up 450,000 steps and earning themselves a well deserved chocolate reward! Great effort from Change colleagues Mitesh, Lesley and Gillian alongside group wide colleagues Josh, Scott, Andy and Mariola.

Not to be outdone, the ‘Pain au Walkers’ team powered on and reached Cambridge on Saturday with fantastic momentum from team members Roya, Emma, Lyle, Toni, Brian, Lisa and Gary. An amazing effort everyone!

The competition across the Group is well and truly heating up… you know who you are 😊

Next stop Calais!

We are lacing up for our first wellbeing challenge of 2026!

Across the Taranata Group, colleagues are taking part in a virtual walk or run from Edinburgh to Paris - 870km / 1.8 million steps in 30 days.

Teams of seven are ready to go, sharing their steps each morning and encouraging one another as they hit major checkpoints including Newcastle, Cambridge and Calais.

With a “first to Paris” prize up for grabs (plus a few bonus surprises along the way), the competition is officially on!

Good luck to everyone taking part, we're expecting lots of steps over the Easter weekend!
