Today is officially our 8th birthday! What started as an ambitious idea has grown into Scotland’s largest provider of Non-Medical Personal Help (NMPH) support.

Over the last eight years we have had the privilege of supporting thousands of students, partnering with over 80+ institutions, working alongside hundreds of incredible support staff and receiving recognition including Scotland’s Recruitment Company of the Year, Best NMPH Provider and the UK’s Best Student Support Agency.

None of this would have been possible without the dedication of our support staff, the trust placed in us by students and institutions, and the hard work of our office team who strive every day to ensure students receive the support they deserve.

As we celebrate this milestone, we remain committed to the values that have guided us from day one: professionalism, inclusion, independence and putting students at the heart of everything we do.

Thank you to everyone who has been part of our journey so far.

Everyone at Theorise Ltd is incredibly proud to see what has been achieved through our partnership with Big Hearts Community Trust over the past year.

When we first provided funding to help establish this project, the aim was simple: to create an inclusive environment where neurodivergent young people could build confidence, develop friendships, improve wellbeing and enjoy being part of a team.

To see the group not only thriving but now lifting silverware is a fantastic achievement and a testament to the hard work of the players, coaches, volunteers, families and everyone involved behind the scenes.

The success of this project is about far more than football. It is about creating opportunities, fostering inclusion and ensuring that every young person has the chance to participate, belong and succeed.

Congratulations to all involved on an incredible achievement. We look forward to continuing to support this fantastic project and seeing what comes next. ❤️⚽🏆

From late-June onwards Theorise will commence recruitment across Scotland for roles with us in the new academic year across institutions in both further and higher education.

We have already seen an exceptionally strong level of interest with many submitting speculative applications ahead of our official job opening dates.

As Scotland’s leading NMPH provider, we are continuing to grow year on year, supporting thousands of students and working in partnership with over 60 institutions. With this growth comes a significant number of opportunities for individuals who are passionate about making a real difference to students’ academic journeys.

Today marks World Autism Awareness Day.

At Theorise, our focus is on ensuring students with autism receive the right support, at the right time, in the right way to succeed within further and higher education.

With autism is, no two individuals will experience it in the same way. It can influence how a person communicates, processes information, interacts with others, and experiences the world around them. Strengths often include attention to detail, deep focus, honesty, and unique ways of thinking, all of which should be recognised and valued.

At Theorise, our role is to ensure that students are supported in a way that recognises both their strengths and the challenges they may face.

Our Autism Mentors and In-Class Support Workers provide consistent, structured, and individualised support to help students:
• Navigate academic environments
• Manage workload and expectations
• Build confidence and independence
• Access their studies on an equal footing

This support is not about changing the student, it’s about adapting the environment and approach to allow each individual to thrive.

Alongside our work in education, we are proud to support wider community initiatives that promote inclusion through different settings.

This has included being at the forefront of establishing a new autism-focused football team for children this year in partnership with HeartofMidlothianFC and Big Hearts Community Trust which we are incredibly proud of.

An incredible way to start the year.

Just 20 days into 2026 and we are now supporting over 2,700 students across Scotland for 25/26, surpassing our total student numbers for the whole of the last academic year. This momentum highlights both the growing demand for high quality, specialist support and the trust placed in us by students and institutions alike.

Our services span the full range of non medical personal help, including Study Skills Tutors, Mental Health Mentors, Autism Mentors, Note Takers, Proof Readers, In class Support Workers, Personal Assistants and Examination Support Staff. Each service is delivered with a strong focus on continuity, quality and truly student centred support.

As a multiple award winning organisation, with further award nominations ahead in the months ahead, we are proud to be at the forefront of Scottish further and higher education support.

An exciting year is already well underway and we are just getting started.
