Ageas UK are recruiting for an Information Security Specialist to join our Counter Threat Unit team on a permanent basis.

The role will require occasional travel to our office in Eastleigh although you are more than welcome to join them every Wednesday on their team days in the office.

Our Information Security department are integral in protecting our customers, employee and company information from security risks; you will be responsible for implementing security initiatives, controls and governance processes which support this.

Last week, we celebrated Diwali at Ageas.

Our team came together to light up the office with beautiful decorations, delicious sweets, and traditional attire. It was a great opportunity to embrace cultural diversity and share the spirit of Diwali with our colleagues.

We are thrilled to share another milestone in our Laptops for Schools initiative. Continuing our commitment to empowering education with technology, we have successfully completed another laptop drop-off at Holmleigh Park High School in Gloucester, a school that was nominated by Karen Hill from our dedicated Claims team.

We donated ten laptops, which will be used to support the school's educational activities and enhance the learning experience for students. 💻

Here's what the Deputy Headteacher, Tommy O’Gallagher, said: "In these challenging times, when budgets are tight, being part of this initiative means a lot. We currently have around 500 Chrome Books, which clearly isn’t enough for all students, so this generous donation opens up new avenues for us. These laptops will find their way to the students and families who will benefit most from them”

Best of luck Holmleigh Park High School, we wish you every success and look forward to hearing about the positive impact the laptops have had on student’s learning journeys.
