We also specialise in General On Site Rescue Drill Training as well as General Safety courses.

Inside our training centre, we have a custom built wind turbine structure designed to replicate key areas of a real turbine.

It’s a vital part of our training, especially for courses like GWO Advanced Rescue, where it’s used to simulate real rescue scenarios. Delegates practice rescuing individuals and moving them through various sections of the structure, helping to build confidence and prepare them for real world situations.

Candidates also get the chance to learn about different safety systems and anchor points.

As part of our GWO Enhanced First Aid training, we simulated a truck incident on the track between the substation and wind turbine, with two casualties requiring immediate assessment and care.

Scenarios like this are designed to build the decision-making, teamwork and confidence needed to respond effectively under pressure just as you may need to in a real wind farm environment.

Our practical, scenario-based training helps participants develop the skills and confidence required to manage emergencies in challenging wind farm environments.

For this project, our team visited a wind farm site to deliver an Enhanced First Aid course, with the training adapted to suit the working environment and the needs of the people on site.

It’s great to be able to take training directly to the workplace and provide practical, relevant support where it’s needed.
