A recruitment consultant from Sutton picked up a ‘star performer’ award at a ceremony at the Tower of London. 🌟
Debbie Hanton manages Berry Recruitment and the branch won an ‘achievement of net profit budget’ award.
Her colleague Sharon Copeland was also recognised and won ‘branch person of the year’.
It was Berry Recruitment Group’s (BRG) first conference and awards evening since Covid.
The group employs nearly 200 staff from nearly 40 locations across England and Wales.
Berry Recruitment’s managing director Lee Gamble said: “Debbie is Sutton’s operations manager and has guided the team through all the difficulties Covid and lockdowns presented.
“The awards were for 2021 and our Sutton branch had a great year, increasing its business significantly.
“Sharon is an integral part of the brilliant team and very much deserved her ‘branch person’ award.
“The branch’s strategic plans really paid off and we anticipate it going from strength to strength and growing over the next year.”
Berry Recruitment Group has four brands: Berry Recruitment, Wild Recruitment, Wild Berry Associates and BuzzHire.
This year it revealed a turnover of almost £70m for 2021 and has since acquired First Recruitment Services in Sussex, which will add a further £6m.
