📣Female Personal Care Assistant vacancy available in Market Deeping PE6 – Lincolnshire!

We’re looking for a caring and fun PA to support a happy and fun young lady from someone with a similar attitude, to accompany her on a wide range of activities. She is mobile, however uses a wheelchair when she’s out. She uses non-verbal cues to communicate but is able to understand basic levels of speech. A car driver is essential, as she has her own car you can use to transport her. However, use of your own vehicle would also be an advantage.

🕑Hours: 6 hrs per week
💷Hourly Pay: £12.71 per hour

👭What does a PA in Social Care do?
• Support and/or prompt with personal care. This may include toileting, showering/bathing, getting in and out of bed, getting dressed.
• Support and/or prompt with cooking/meal preparation and eating meals/drinks.
• Support and/or prompt to attend appointments as necessary, e.g. hospital/doctors.
• Support with food shopping.
• Support to get to and from school/work/college/social activities.
• Support and/or prompt the individual to access sporting and leisure activities.
• Assist and encourage socialisation, participating in activities.
• Promote and encourage friendships and independence.
• Develop a good and trusting one to one working relationship.

🚗Requirements:
Full driving licence is essential as the role requires you to drive the employer’s vehicle, for insurance purpose you must be 25.

We’re looking for a caring and patient PA to support friendly, outgoing and warm-hearted lady, she is blind, but independent, sociable and loves getting out and about in the community and would like your help with this. Looking for a Personal Assistant who is outgoing, kind, patient and reliable, and who can support her to enjoy an active and fulfilling lifestyle. The role will involve accompanying her when going out to see family and friends, attending appointments and getting involved in activities within the local community. She will also need support with preparing meals, attending medical appointments and general day-to-day activities. She is also looking for someone who is computer literate, as she would appreciate support with using computers and technology when needed. The ideal person will be friendly, approachable, patient and understanding, with a positive attitude and a genuine interest in helping others.
