About Growing Leaders Nursery & After-School Club Ltd Growing Leaders Nursery & After-School Club Ltd is a values-led childcare setting focused on creating a safe, nurturing, and structured environment where children can grow in confidence, character, and capability. We provide: After-school club provision Holiday club programmes (year-round) Early years childcare (launching as part of our phased nursery rollout) Our setting is launching in a phased approach , beginning with after-school and holiday club provision, with a full nursery offering to follow upon Ofsted registration completion. The Role We are seeking a strong, reliable, and organised Manager to lead the day-to-day running of our setting. During the initial phase, the role will focus on managing the after-school and holiday club provision , with responsibility transitioning into full nursery management as the setting expands. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to grow with a setting from the ground up and play a key role in shaping its structure, team, and culture. Key Responsibilities Lead the daily operations of the after-school and holiday club Manage staff, rotas, and ratios in line with requirements Coordinate school pick-ups and safe transportation procedures Ensure a safe, engaging, and structured environment for children Maintain safeguarding, health & safety, and compliance standards Support with preparation for Ofsted inspection and ongoing compliance Build positive relationships with parents, carers, and the community Support transition into full nursery operations Requirements Minimum Level 3 in Childcare (Early Years or equivalent) Previous experience in a supervisory or management role Strong understanding of safeguarding and childcare regulations Confident managing a team and leading a setting Organised, proactive, and able to work in a start-up environment Full UK driving licence (preferred for school pick-ups) Why Join Us Opportunity to lead a setting from launch Progress into a full nursery management role Be part of a purpose-driven, growing organisation Shape systems, culture, and team from the beginning
