🏗️ McLaren Construction and Phoenix ME have landed roles on a significant £254 million data centre project in Iver, Buckinghamshire.
Corscale has appointed these two firms under a preconstruction services agreement, marking the start of early works on this ambitious project. Situated on a 14-acre site at Court Lane near the M25, the project includes the construction of two data centre buildings and a 140MVA substation.
Designed by architect Gensler, and valued at £253.9 million by Glenigan, the project will feature cladding and architectural elements to complement the nearby Grade II-listed Iver Court Farmhouse.
McLaren Construction will act as the main contractor with Phoenix ME as the MEP delivery partner, supported by Cundall on MEP design and L&P Group providing engineering support.
It's a major step forward, especially considering the project's importance for the UK digital economy, as highlighted by the Ministry of Housing, Communities and Local Government back in December 2024.
