The students encompass a wide range of both learning and physical disabilities. As a care and support worker, you will play a vital role within this interdisciplinary team, providing personalised care to facilitate students' access to education and the pursuit of their aspirations.Key responsibilities include:
• Providing comprehensive personal care; washing, dressing, grooming, toileting, oral hygiene, and assistance with feeding.
• Assisting in the classroom and other learning environments, collaborating closely with educational professionals and tutors.
• Planning, and supporting high-quality leisure activities; community outings, visits to cinemas, pubs, and restaurants, or facilitating students' pursuit of their favourite hobbies or sports.
• Document student progress towards their goals.
• Collaborate with family members to facilitate open communication between students, parents, friends, and relatives, whilst providing updates on activities and progress.
• Administering medication to residents in adherence to policies and procedures, following appropriate training.A significant number of the students reside on campus during term-time. As a Care and Support worker, you will be assigned to a specific residence, allowing you to build strong relationships with a small group of students and assist them with their daily routines. Witnessing the progress students make towards independence is an incredibly rewarding experience.Staff Benefits:

Cloud recruit are now recruiting a full time Residential Support worker in the North west.

£220 - £260/day depending on experience and the Client.

The shift patterns are 4 days on 4 days off.

Requirement;

Full UK driver's lisence.
Be able to complete our 4 day Positive behaviour support course, which includes pro-active and active interventions.
Be willing to travel up to 4 hours for other contracts.
Can work well in a team.
This job requires individuals who are physically fit and capable of handling aggressive behavior. The young people we support have often been let down by the care system and struggle to trust adults. As part of a small team, your task will be to provide support to these young individuals, helping them to develop and achieve their goals despite their difficult past experiences. Emotional resilience is essential in this role, as you will need to build trust and rapport with these young people.
