We're delighted to announce that our 'Polynesian Powerhouse Prop', Suetena Asomua has signed with Coventry Rugby Club for the 2026/27 Elior Champ Rugby season. A former Samoan U20's & New Zealand U20's Age Grade International, Suetena has played NPC for Counties Manukau Rugby as well as Super Rugby Pacific for Moana Pasifika. Last season saw him sign for Valence Romans Drôme Rugby in France's PRO D2 Rugby where he was able to demonstrate his abilities in a different style of Rugby. An extremely big, physical and powerful man, Sue brings real strength to the scrum and thrives on ball carrying and tackling. The no nonsense Tight Head will be a great addition to the Coventry pack and to the Championship. Good luck Sue! 💪🏽🇼🇸🇳🇿

We're delighted to announce that our young, exciting Lock/Backrower, James Brown has signed with for the 2026/27 season. The Scottish Qualified Forward has real pedigree having coming through the Auckland age-grade system before going on to represent the Blues at U20's level. Of Samoan, Scottish and New Zealand heritage, James brings power, physicality and ballast along with a great skillset also. Last season saw him play for in Super Rygbi Cymru where he made an instant impact.
