Vacancy - Contract Manager
Ellis Construction Services Ltd, based in the Midlands, specializes in road surfacing, including tarmacing of roads, footways, and driveways. The Company is equipped to handle projects of various sizes, from small emergency repairs like potholes to planned major highway asphalt surfacing. Operations are flexible acd can be carried out during regular hours, nights, or weekends. In addition to surfacing, the Company also manages road planing and undertakes thermoplastic roadmarkings, ensuring comprehensive service delivery.
This is a full time role for a Contract Manager at Ellis Construction Services Ltd in the West Midlands. Responsibilities include overseeing and managing contracts for road surfacing projects, ensuring compliance with project specifications, managing budgets and resources, and coordinating with project teams. The Contract Manager will oversea communication with clients and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
* Strong project and contract management skills, the ability to manage timelines, budgets, and resources effectively.
* Knowledge of all aspects of road surfacing operations.
* Excellant communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.
* Problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
* Understanding of health and safety regulations in construction and surfacing projects.
* Proficiency in using project management tools and office software.
* Experiance in the road surfacing industry is preferred.
