Job Title: Customer Service Representative
Position Summary:
The Customer Service Representative is the main point of contact for customers, ensuring their needs are met through clear communication, timely updates, and proactive problem-solving. This role focuses on building trust, resolving inquiries, and working with internal teams to deliver excellent service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary contact for customer enquiries about orders, schedules, delays, and artwork approvals.
- Provide regular updates to customers on order statuses and address any concerns quickly.
- Work with production and scheduling teams to share customer priorities and track progress.
- Help resolve issues (e.g., delays, material shortages) by coordinating with other departments.
- Keep accurate customer and order records in the companyβs systems.
- Look for ways to improve customer service processes and communication.
Qualifications:
- Experience:2+ years in customer service, ideally in manufacturing, packaging, or a similar industry.
- Skills:Strong communication and interpersonal skills, problem-solving attitude, and a focus on customer satisfaction. Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook) and some experience with ERP systems (training available).
- Traits:Organised, detail-oriented, and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Education: Matric Certificate required; further training or qualifications in Business or a related field are a plus
