'I didn't know that about you! I'm so pleased I asked!' A thought for you as you head into the weekend... Value every single conversation that you have.

We've all heard the phrase 'you don't know what you don't know'! The power of the unknown is huge! How many times has a chance conversation changed your path in a significant way?

This weekend, remind yourself to take this open minded approach with you as you engage with people who have taken the time out to speak directly with you. Get to know them and be brave in allowing them the opportunity to get to know you. Who knows where it could go?

The mystery of Recruitment! Why can it be such a challenge?! Let's dig into it... What are your options?

πŸ€” Have a go internally without prior experience (Might work / Might not? Could take up a lot of resources / create set backs?)
πŸ€” Pay externally (Cost Effective? Makes sense time wise? Lots of experience behind the work? Could be expensive? Might work / Might not?)
πŸ€” Have a reliable internal process and people in your work force to deliver the individual tasks (Could be worth looking into if you regularly recruit? A bit of set up time but long term worthwhile investment?)

Recruitment is a process. Stepping stones towards a successful hire with retention. Each stone on the journey has the potential to give way, it's a tricky business! But it's completely manageable. Maybe it's best to use an expert, or split the process with an expert, or try yourself... Only you can make that decision.. That's a stepping stone in itself... Choosing what to do!

There's options. But it starts with knowledge. Then a plan.
