We are working with a business based in Chichester that has had a record year even during the current pandemic, they import, warehouse and fulfil delivery on various items across multiple sectors and have just taken on new warehouse space to match their successful growth as a company.
They are looking to take on 4 new members of staff who have a background in warehouse picking and packing, specifically with computerised systems.
Each client that they work with has their own specific instructions for their items which are held and dispatched by my client, these instructions have to be followed so the right candidate will be PC literate, have great attention to detail and strong written and verbal skills giving the ability to understand each client's requirements.
Key responsibilities of this role will be accurate picking and packing of goods for despatch, using scanners. The role may also involve replenishment and rework (they aim for all operatives to be multi-trained).
Warehouse experience preferred but not essential if desired skills-sets shown elsewhere. Attention to detail, team working, reliability and hard-working all essential characteristics.
The individual will join a great existing team at the clients brand new facilities in Tangmere, Chichester West Sussex.
40 hours per week, 8 - 4.30 Mon-Fri.
Parking on-site, but bus stop to Chichester also near to the Business Park.
