With this year’s graduates about to kick off their journey at Graduate Bootcamp, we're catching up with some of our current graduates to hear about their highlights and the most valuable lessons they've taken from the experience.

For Catherine McCartney, Operations Graduate, the most valuable part of Bootcamp was the opportunity to connect with others:

💬 "Meeting the other graduates, putting faces to names, and building that network that we could call on throughout the rest of our graduate cohort."

One of Catherine’s standout highlights was taking part in a steak masterclass with Dermott Slade:

💬 "My highlight would have to be the steak masterclass with Dermott Slade. Just knowing how to cook a steak properly. It was really interesting."

✨ABP SHE was on the road last week as the team hosted a Southern Roadshow in Yeovil, bringing together members from our Yetminster, Langport and Sturminster sites.

The event provided a great opportunity for colleagues to connect, share experiences and continue building the ABP SHE network across the region. Attendees took part in a range of talks and interactive activities designed to inspire discussion, encourage personal development and strengthen relationships between sites.

Thank you to everyone who attended and contributed to making the roadshow a successful and engaging event. We look forward to continuing the conversation at future ABP SHE events.

🎤 Building confidence and strengthening communication skills!

Colleagues recently took part in a Presenting with Impact training course, developed and led by our Head of Learning & Development, John Degg.

The session provided a great opportunity to develop presentation skills, build confidence, and learn alongside peers in a supportive environment. Through practical activities and shared experiences, participants gained valuable tools to help them communicate with greater impact in their roles.
