Option A are currently recruiting a large team of Poultry Farm Workers for a job starting on 3rd December 2024. The work will last roughly 3 days, but if you're looking for something longer term we have plenty of options to follow onto!

🟢Job Role - Poultry Farm Labourer

🟢Pay Rate - £11.44 Per Hour / £17.16 Overtime

🟢Duration - 3 Days

🟢Shift Time - 0800-1630

What you'll be doing: Our client requires a team to assist in the cleaning out of their poultry sheds following removal of the birds. Although all the birds will be removed from the sheds prior to your arrival, you may encounter some deceased livestock so being comfortable with this sort of thing is essential! You will be shoveling, scraping, scrubbing and hosing down equipment.

Your duties will include, but are not limited to:
🚜 Driving tractors, forklifts, and telehandlers
🐄 Feeding and monitoring livestock
🧼 Maintaining excellent hygiene levels

Suitable Candidates Will:

🌾 Job Opportunity: Join Our Potato Harvest Teams! 🌾

Option A is recruiting for several vacancies within our POTATO HARVEST TEAMS in and around the Scottish Borders and Northumberland. As a potato harvester, you have the potential to earn up to £1,000 per week!

Duties Include:
🥔 Working 12-hour shifts, up to 7 days per week
🥔 Standing for long periods
🥔 Sorting through potatoes by hand, picking out stones and debris
🥔 Being on standby when the weather forecast is unclear

Important Notes:
Potato harvesting CANNOT run in the rain, so when the weather is good, you’ll work 7 days a week (usually 7AM-7PM). However, given the British weather, expect some days off when the rain hits, so flexibility is key.

HAVING YOUR OWN TRANSPORT IS ESSENTIAL as you will need to follow the harvester to different locations throughout the harvest period.

Previous experience in a similar role with heavy hours is highly desirable.
