It feels like only yesterday that Eve Duncan and Kirsty Dillon watched Mude | Diabetes Adaptive Clothing being pitched at SU Enterprise Enterpriseā€™s Dragonsā€™ Den. Fast forward to today, and weā€™ve come full circle, helping the team find their very first Marketing Lead!

As AI changes how we work and recruit, HR teams need to be involved in decisions about how itā€™s introduced and how people are supported along the way.

This morning, we hosted Putting AI to Work: Transforming HR and Recruitment with Lewis Silkin to explore these challenges.

For employers, itā€™s worth thinking beyond the time a tool might save. Employees need training and clear guidance, while hiring teams need ways to check AI-assisted decisions and understand the person behind a polished application.

Conversations, practical assessments and human judgement all have a role in making that work.
