I shared this song because of what the lyrics says about the baladi style. Note this ts oriental but with a part that talks about baladi.

This one is really intresting because he sings about the description of baladi woman dance and how that the upper class and the everyone loved to watch baladi dance. Now this is an oriental dance that takes about Baladi style
Kind of like when we have a bit of baladi in our Mejancee.
But the most interesting for me here is
How he describes what people think of the baladi dance
I translate word for word in that section from 2:42

The dance is like a story acted by the eyes and hips and also with answers by the body.
I love the Baladi dance, I love the baladi dance, I love the baladi dance and the Baladi I love people!!
Some students asked me people that the Baladi is strong woman and doesnt flirt and so serious like a man.
This info is not right at all.
The Malamah Character is a different idea yes but she is flirt and shows the baladi qualities that the singers refers to here in his song we must understand the story well.
Also it shows that Baladi is like our all music big story told with our eyes and body
And the story is not just flirtation but also happy pain of love and vulnerability of love so more deep than just always looking sexy or strong like man.
The baladi woman is the farest from a man.
She is a man in here support to others.
A man in taking care of her house
Sisters, kids, family.
She is a man that she can be between men and still act respectful to her self and others .
But she is not a man in her feelings of love
Or of her femininity. Not at all the opposite
