Who am I?
My name is Alan Eustace, aka Huey. I have been living in Spain for the past 15 years and I have been self-employed working with security grills and locks. I have 20 years experience previously working in other fields of engineering. Recently I have dedicated myself solely to the locksmith industry and I have been Segurtec24 trained (part of the Spanish locksmith union, UCES).
What Service do I provide?
Complete 24 hour locksmith service, non destructive opening of all types of doors, locks and barrels changed or upgraded, safe opening service, concertina grilles supplied and fitted, same keying for the entire house, broken key removal.
Probably the most important thing I do is the emergency response service eg when you are locked out of your own house for whatever reason, keys locked inside, lost keys, or no keys. I will attempt to get to you within half an hour and get you inside your home within minutes of arriving without damage to your door.
What is a Locksmith?
A locksmith is a trained professional. To get trained you need to be involved in the industry already for a minimum of 2 years showing proof of employment or self-employment and with stringent security and police checks. A locksmith will have access to technical back up services for any extraordinary queries and can provide an invoice for insurance claims.
What to do if you need a Locksmith in an emergency?
First of all I would obviously suggest that you phone me on (0034) 609265899. However, if you are unlucky enough to be locked out without my number this is what I recommend and hopefully you will remember it….Call your estate agent or rental agency. They should have a locksmith service they use or recommend. Once you have made contact with a locksmith always ask for a price. With a bit of explanation from you a professional locksmith can easily give you an accurate quote over the phone. The obvious choice to search for a locksmith is the internet. However always be wary of personal adverts with only a telephone number that say they are close to you and cheap. They are almost always not close and never cheap. Be wary of the stickers on post boxes, lampposts etc offering a multitude of services. Only go for specific locksmith or cerrajero numbers as these are solely dedicated to providing a professional locksmith service ( remember to always ask the price).
