Drei Tage IFAT-Abbau in München 📍

Mit unserer Crew waren wir beim Rückbau der Messe im Einsatz - von Loading und Logistik bis hin zu Abbauarbeiten direkt in den Hallen 🚛⚙️

Wenn die Messe endet, beginnt hinter den Kulissen die nächste Phase: Material bewegen, Strukturen abbauen und große Produktionen Schritt für Schritt zurückbauen. Große Flächen, viele Gewerke und jede Menge Bewegung - genau die Art von Projekten, die starke Teamarbeit brauchen 💪

Three days of IFAT breakdown in Munich 📍

Our crew supported the dismantling phase of the trade show - from loading and logistics to breakdown operations inside the halls 🚛⚙️

Once the trade show ends, the next phase begins behind the scenes: moving equipment, dismantling structures and managing large-scale operations step by step. Large venues, multiple teams and constant movement - the kind of projects that rely on strong teamwork 💪

Zwischen Metropolen wie Madrid, Berlin oder Amsterdam und kleineren Orten wie Wunsiedel, Minden oder Montbrison lag ein Monat voller unterschiedlicher Setups, Anforderungen und Produktionen.

Ob Messe, Show oder Special Location – jede Stadt bringt ihren eigenen Vibe, jedes Projekt neue Herausforderungen.

Was bleibt: ein starkes Team, saubere Abläufe und der Anspruch, Events zuverlässig umzusetzen – egal wo. ⚙️

Weiterbildung gehört für uns einfach dazu. 💡

Letzte Woche war ein Teil unserer Crew in München beim Seminar „Lichttechnische Grundlagen“ in Kombination mit Lichtdesign, Systemaufbau & Lichtpulten – organisiert vom Kulturreferat der Landeshauptstadt München.

Nach einem Theorie-Teil ging es direkt in die Praxis:
Lampen hängen, Verkabelung verstehen 🔌, Strom-Themen vertiefen und am Ende selbst ans Lichtpult (u. a. grandMA 2 & 3), um das Zusammenspiel der Systeme zu erleben.

Besonders spannend war auch der Einblick in die Struktur vor Ort – ein eigener Technik-Pool mit rund 70 Veranstaltungstechniker:innen, Fokus auf städtische, nicht-kommerzielle Events und Nachwuchsförderung.

Continuous learning is part of what we do. 💡

Last week, part of our crew joined a training in Munich on lighting fundamentals, combined with lighting design, system setup and lighting desks, hosted by the City of Munich’s cultural department.

Starting with theory and moving straight into hands-on practice:
rigging fixtures, understanding cabling 🔌, working with power and finally getting on the consoles (including grandMA 2 & 3) to see how everything connects.

Also great to learn more about their structure – a pool of around 70 event technicians, focused on non-commercial city events and supporting local culture.

Wir waren Ende März am Eibsee unterhalb der Zugspitze im Einsatz 🏔️
Mit einem Team von 3–6 Stagehands pro Tag haben wir den Transport von Materialien per Seilbahn 🚠 begleitet und vor Ort beim Aufbau unterstützt.
Oben angekommen ging es direkt weiter mit der Umsetzung der Szenografie 👀 im Restaurant. Gemeinsam mit den Dekorationsteams wurde das Konzept Schritt für Schritt zur Realität 🎭
Ein Projekt mit besonderer Logistik, beeindruckender Kulisse und viel Teamarbeit 💪

At the end of March, we supported a great Event at Eibsee, right below the Zugspitze 🏔️
With a team of 3–6 stagehands per day, we handled logistics via cable car 🚠 and supported the on-site setup.
At the top, we worked alongside the decoration teams to bring the scenography to life inside the restaurant 🎭
A project defined by unique logistics, an impressive location and strong teamwork 💪
