Toronto Skate Stop

Toronto Skate Stop Our goal is to be Toronto's first youth-led drop-in centre and indoor skatepark facility. [email protected]

Toronto Skate Stop is an informal space built by skaters who want to ignite social change. The movement was established by local skateboarders passionate about creating safe, DIY, hassle-free places to skate. Created by and for the youth, TSS helps to cultivate the potential of skaters through a series of fun workshops and events where they have access to artistic, employment and housing opportuni

ties. Our long-term goal is to design an inclusive indoor drop-in skatepark facility/drop-in centre that uses skateboarding as a tool of engagement, encourages peer mentoring and is designed with the local skate community.

The facts are there and the truth is obvious - skateboarding has not been respected by our government as the amazing sport and art that it is. Toronto needs a municipal indoor skatepark designed for youth as this has now become a public health concern.

Join us this Friday for a rally to demand an indoor skatepark for the downtown core. We will start at CBC at 430 and have a best trick competition at City Hall as an effort to raise awareness and commemorate Jordan Carter. Your help and support is greatly appreciated.

Sponsors to be announced soon!

They are seeking skateboarder kids who might be interested in being featured in the show!

Here is the teaser for the show.
