We're Hiring a Brand Manager at freelance.ca!
Job Description
As a Brand Manager, your primary mission will be to enhance the visibility of our platform in the media and promote its image. Strategic development and brand positioning will be your key priorities. You will be responsible for establishing media relationships and leading initiatives to increase brand awareness.
Additionally, you will develop partnerships, participate in events, and manage press relations. As part of our expansion, you may also be involved in building the reputation of our U.S. platform, freelance.jobs. You will work closely with our Marketing Manager and international team.
Main Responsibilities
- Strengthen brand visibility and awareness
- Develop partnerships
- Ensure media coverage of various topics
- Write and distribute press releases
- Monitor media trends and understand issues related to freelancing
- Maintain a strong brand reputation
- Manage media requests (interviews and information inquiries)
- Represent the company as a spokesperson at conferences
- Identify opportunities for awards and recognition
- Measure and analyze the impact of brand development initiatives
Qualifications
- Degree in Public Relations, Communications, or a related field
- 1 year of experience in communications or a related field
- Bilingual in French and English
- Strong knowledge of Canadian media (knowledge of U.S. media is a plus)
- Excellent writing skills
- Resourceful, organized, and analytical mindset
