Day 2 of the Okanagan Job Fair is about to happen from 9am - 4pm at Columbia Hall (455 Ellis Ave in Naramata).

That’s a wrap for the first day of the Okanagan Wine Job Fair in Naramata. If you didn’t make it out today, no worries!

We have a second day tomorrow (Sunday April 10 from 9am - 4pm) and there are still many interesting jobs!

Plus, Mireille Sauve is running more mini training sessions about Varietal Characteristics, Sales Tips’n’Tricks, Wine and Food pairing and you actually get to taste some FANTASTIC wines!

Plus, our favourite Indian Food Truck will be back between 11 and 2.30pm.

As Tasting Room Associate / Brand Ambassador, you will provide outstanding hospitality to guests at the tasting bar that translates to sales.


Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Provide consistent brand messaging to guests
Assist with opening and closing duties of the tasting room which includes cleaning, washing and polishing glassware, inventory etc.
Assists guests with transporting purchases to their vehicle or arrange for shipment / delivery
Promoting the sale of wine and non-wine merchandise
Stocking and displaying wine and retail merchandise in the tasting room
Help with special events

Qualifications

Related wine industry experience is an asset
Ideally, you have a Serving it Right certification. CSW, WSET or comparable certification is a plus
Demonstrated experience and skills working in a customer service oriented environment
A passion for wine(s) and working with people
Fluent in English
Eligible to work in Canada
