Behind ASF

I founded AudreySaysFashion in 2016. My love for fashion was so big that I had to let the world know how passionate I am for it.

Growing up I would see my mother get ready to go to African parties in her African print fashions with amazing style and colours. Watching her get ready was always so fascinating and entertaining to me. I was life having a fashion show in my own home. She always had elegance, grace and style and she was my first inspiration to pursue a career in fashion.

Other inspirations were watching shows like S*x and the City and Gossip Girl in my teenage years which is how I discovered my favourite character, Blair Waldorf. I love everything about Blair, her drive, determination and her journey to conquer the world. She reminded of Ana Wintour, which I aspire to be the black version of her or better.

AudreySaysFashion is still in its early years, but my goal is for it to become the black VOGUE.
