L'employé en aide à la production est responsable de fournir un soutien au opérateur en production de l'usine. Il sera appelé à travailler sur des équipements de fabrication de produits alimentaires. Our customer is in the Food Industry and is looking for dynamic candidates for the production line in the warehouse. Please keep in mind this is a food industry and if you have allergies to anything you must be aware. We have immediate openings. Start date ASAP
The employee in production aid is responsible for providing support to the operator in plant production. He/She will be working on food manufacturing equipment, as production aid. As well, he/she must wash and clean their equipment and ensure a clean working environment. He/She works well as a team player. He/She will also be responsible for the work of "end of line" doing boxes, making pallets, sweeping or replacing people when they’re on break/sick. Salary are below per hour for each shift for production aid for a food manufacturing company. Must be able to pick up less than 30 lbs for women and 40 lbs for men. Steel toe boots required.

Machine Operator/Process Worker

Basic Functions and Scope

The Encapsulator is responsible for operating two to three encapsulation machines. He/She is expected to help those around him in order to minimize production and maximize output.

Duties and Responsibilities

Perform all in process quality checks
Fill and shell weights
Seal checks
Quality Measurements
Size verifications
Print quality
Troubleshooting and problem solving both machine and quality issues.
Perform all mechanical adjustments needed to machinery using provided hand tools.
Operate the encapsulation machine printer.
Perform product and batch changes.
Follow standard operating procedures as per job function.
Spread capsules onto the drying trays.
Move full and empty racks to identified areas.
Ensure ex*****on and completion of all necessary paperwork
Ensure safety and cleanliness of the immediate work area, department, and the entire facility.
Must have the ability to visually recognize and sort sub-standard product per encapsulation standards.
Visually recognize and sort sub-standard product per capsulation standards.
Apply the methods and processes of the company and ensure compliance, including the health and safety procedures.
Any other related duties assigned by the supervisor
Qualifications

Minimum of a high school diploma
Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a manufacturing setting
Basic computer skills
Functional Bilingualism (French and English)
Basic mathematics skills:
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
Intermediate reasoning skills:
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations
