There was a time when I came to Canada on a dependent visa, wondering what my future would look like. ❤️
Today, I’m sitting here looking at $7,000+ worth of Emirates flight tickets booked for my family and me—with my own hard-earned money. ✈️❤️
And yes… I even booked our domestic flights in India myself. ✈️🇮🇳
To someone else, this may simply look like a flight booking.
But to me, this is a milestone. 🥹
It reminds me of the woman I was when I first came to Canada—and the woman I’ve worked hard to become.
I’m grateful for my 9–5 job, because it has been an important part of my journey. ❤️
And I’m equally grateful for the business I started alongside my job, because it gave me another source of income, more financial confidence and the ability to create opportunities for myself and my family.
This is why I talk so much about women becoming financially independent.
Because independence is not just about money.
It’s about having choices.
It’s about being able to contribute to your family.
It’s about not having to wait for someone else to make things possible.
It’s about knowing, “I can do this myself.” ❤️
And yes, there is something incredibly empowering about being able to say:
“I worked for this. I earned this. I paid for this.” ✨
I’m not saying everyone needs to book a $7,000 flight.
I’m sharing this because I want another woman sitting at home wondering, “Can I really build something of my own?” to know that starting small can still take you somewhere you never imagined.
I started with zero experience in the digital world.
I learned.
I worked.
I made mistakes.
I stayed consistent.
And I built this alongside my 9–5.
Today, I’m creating memories with my family that I once only dreamed about. 🇮🇳❤️✈️
