Material Handler
Acquired Personnel Services Ltd. – Milton, ON

Our client located in the Milton area is hiring material handlers/order pickers.

Terms:

Period of Contract: Immediate and ongoing
Work hours: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm
Compensation: $15/ hour depending on experience
Safety equipment: Steel toe safety shoes required (Candidate to purchase on own)
Key Responsibilities:

Adhere to all Health & Safety regulations and company policies
Use power equipment to attach vertical slats to pallets for use in inbound/outbound processing
Process orders with use of Raymond reach, walkie by selecting the correct quantity of product from the designated storage location in accordance with pick ticket instructions
Manually stretch wrap outbound pallets, provide dimensions and apply shipping labels
Clean work area daily, free of debris and obstructions to ensure a safe work environment
Key Requirements:

Candidates eligible for this position MUST possess a valid certification to operate Reach Truck
Ability to communicate with peers and superiors in a professional manner
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on a regular basis
Willingness to work flexible shifts as the business demands
Excellent attendance & punctuality
Own mode of transportation
Self-Motivated
