I always wanted to say "a mom!" As I entered the teen years, I spent most of my spare time being the local babysitter in my small community of Willowbrook (outskirts of Oliver BC). I moved to Kelowna after graduation, married, and had a child of my own. I worked in various fields of employment, all the while not really feeling the enjoyment of my J.O.B. After my maternity ended, I started the proc
ess of finding childcare, quality childcare...My poor daughter was in and out of several daycares, licensed and unlicensed, and after a year and a half of disappointments, either from poor care, safety hazards or providers leaving town, I had enough, it was time to do something about it. I had already been planning to start my own daycare, and now was the time. I am thankful for the opportunities I have had, and continue to have, watching peoples children learn, play, and discover their world. I take what I do seriously, and I am passionate about it.
