The Employment and Education Centre (EEC) is a charitable, non-profit agency that has been serving Brockville, Leeds and Grenville area since 1985. Since then, our organization has grown and expanded and offers a comprehensive roster of services. We present a wide selection of programs and initiatives designed to help people at every stage of their employment journey. In addition to our employment
and job development services, we also offer credit counselling, the Youth Volunteer Crew, and Computers For Job Success courses. EEC also offers transition assistance to crown wards who are leaving foster care with the Youth in Transition program. And our newest program is the Youth Job Connection which offers intensive support to youth in helping them find and keep a job. If you're looking for a job, Employment and Education Centre is looking to help you! Whether a full-time job, part-time job, online job or summer job, we have employment coaches to assist you with finding the right job! We also help employers with employee pre-screening and provide HR services. The agency helps link people with meaningful volunteer experiences with the Youth Volunteer Crew (YVC). We also offer free 2 and 3-day computer training workshops for the Microsoft Office Suite. Our 1000 Islands Credit Counselling division offers a full range of credit counselling options from budgeting to debt management. We also assist young crown wards who are leaving foster care by offering the Youth in Transition program. Our newest program Youth Job Connection provides youth aged 15-29 paid pre-employment training and paid jobs to get them ready and back to the workforce.
