We have a new partnership here at Rosefinch, and we need your help getting the word out.

Every Thursday from 1:30 to 3:30pm, outreach workers from the South Shore Open Doors Association will be set up in the back nook area of the café. Anyone is welcome to walk in and talk to them.

Are you worried about your housing? Having trouble keeping up with rent or power bills? Trying to figure out what financial or community supports you might qualify for? Or concerned about someone you know and not sure where they can turn? Please bring your questions here.

You don't need to know which program applies, whether you qualify, or even exactly what kind of help you're after. You can talk it through together, and they'll help connect you, or someone you care about, to the right resources.

In a rural community, the hard part is often just figuring out who to call and then finding a way to get there. Now you've got a place to start that conversation close to home.

Tell your neighbours, tell your friends, tell your neighbours to tell their friends. Let's make "go talk to SSODA at Rosefinch on Thursday" one of those things everyone around here just knows to do. (No need to buy anything!!)

ALO is back from summer break and excited to welcome learners to our fall programs!

Our September classes begin on September 14, and registration is NOW OPEN for anyone who would benefit from improving their literacy, numeracy, digital skills, or preparing for the CAEC.

If someone comes to mind—a client, friend, family member, or community member—please share it with them. We'd love to help them get started.
