Miss Earthlife Africa International..beauty through culture and tourism

OFFICIAL STATEMENT

Dear Delegates, Directors, Partners, Sponsors, and Supporters,

After careful consideration and consultation with our leadership team, Miss Earthlife Africa International has made the difficult decision to postpone the 2026 Grand Finale that was scheduled to take place in South Africa this October.

This decision has not been made lightly. In light of current concerns and uncertainties affecting travel confidence among several participating African countries, we believe it is our responsibility to prioritize the safety, comfort, and peace of mind of all delegates, national directors, partners, and guests.

Miss Earthlife Africa International was founded on the principles of unity, cultural exchange, empowerment, and celebrating the beauty and diversity of Africa. We remain fully committed to these values and to providing an experience that allows every participant to feel safe, welcomed, and supported.

Our Executive Team is actively engaging with stakeholders and exploring the best way forward, including alternative dates, locations, and arrangements that will ensure a successful and inclusive event for all involved.

We appreciate the understanding, patience, and continued support of our MELAI family during this period. Further updates will be communicated as soon as decisions have been finalized.

Together, we remain committed to our mission of empowering women, promoting cultural heritage, advancing tourism, and championing environmental sustainability across Africa and beyond.

Thank you for standing with us.

We are so inspired by your dedication to empowering young women and girls! 🌍✨ Your farm visit with Our Queen Boikobo Makaba is a beautiful example of mentorship, learning, and shared inspiration. 💖 It’s amazing to see how generations can uplift each other – teaching, laughing, and growing together.

Thank you for being a true role model and showing that no dream is too big and no voice too small! 🙌❤️

MISS EARTHLIFE AFRICA INTERNATIONAL – 2025 OVERVIEW

On a continental level, Miss Earthlife Africa International continued to grow as a pan-African empowerment platform, founded and led by Lizzy Maila. The organisation reinforced its mission of developing confident, purpose-driven African women who advocate for culture, tourism, and environmental sustainability.

2025 focused on:
• Building visibility and brand awareness across Africa
• Strengthening national chapters, including Botswana
• Positioning the organisation beyond pageantry — as a leadership and advocacy movement
• Promoting Beauty With Purpose as a lifestyle and responsibility

LOOKING AHEAD TO 2026

As we move into 2026, Miss Earthlife Africa International and its Botswana chapter are focused on:
• Stronger structure and national chapter development
• Expanded environmental and community impact projects
• Strategic partnerships and sponsorships
• Enhanced digital presence and storytelling
• Preparing queens to lead meaningful, measurable initiatives

Botswana continues to stand proud within this vision.

Happy Birthday to our Executive Director Ms Lizzy Maila.
