Kyoto is pure magic - but it’s easy to get swept up in the crowds. ⛩️

We’ve spent 6 days across 2 trips uncovering temples, attractions, and hidden gems - plus a few lessons learned along the way. Our brand new guide covers our favorite experiences (some with a dose of honest expectation‑setting!) and even a few things we’d skip next time.

The link’s in the first comment if you’re dreaming of Japan or planning your next trip. 👇

Tokyo is where the ancient world meets modern technology - temples and shrines mixing with neon lights and giant arcades. The food is amazing, the parks are beautiful, and the controlled chaos is a real eye-opener.

Here's what you can't miss if you ever make it to Tokyo (and you really should go!): https://wherearethosemorgans.com/things-to-do-in-tokyo/

We love how distinctive Singapore's neighborhood are: Marina Bay is for glamour, Chinatown is for culture, Orchard is for shopping, Sentosa is for resorts, the Civic District is for grandeur, Kampong Glam is for off the beaten path heritage, and Clarke Quay is for nightlife.

It makes choosing a place to stay to suit your travel style pretty easy. The big difference maker? Prices. Hotels in some of those areas cost twice what they do in others. And on the flip side, you can pick up 5-star hotels at 3-star prices - if you pick the right area.

Find out everything you need to know about each neighborhood in our newest guide: https://wherearethosemorgans.com/where-to-stay-in-singapore

Singapore is one of our favorite places in the world. We spent months working over there in our old science jobs before starting our travel business, and in our free time we slowly ticked off everything there is to do as tourists - attractions, museums, temples, foodie spots, nature escapes, islands, you name it.

Then we went back for an action-packed 5 day trip to see and do it all again - only this time we visited as travel pros, took a million photos and figured out exactly where first timers should focus their time.

Here are our standout experiences: https://wherearethosemorgans.com/things-to-do-in-singapore/

The Blue Grotto is Capri's most popular attraction, but is it worth visiting? We read some pretty extreme reviews before going ourselves - some people loved it but others seriously hated it. That only added to the intrigue for us.

Read about our experience, the mistakes you must avoid if visiting, and whether we think it's worth the money, time and effort ➡️ https://wherearethosemorgans.com/visit-blue-grotto-capri/

Positano was exactly what we expected - beautiful, photogenic, ritzy, vibrant atmosphere, great food, expensive and busy.

It was supposed to be a place to slow down, eat, drink, relax and soak up the views. And we tried. But we can't sit still for long!

Here's what we discovered, what we loved and what we thought was overrated ➡️ https://wherearethosemorgans.com/positano-top-experiences/

We honestly think Capri is misrepresented as ONLY being a luxury 5 star bougie wedding destination. Yes it's ritzy, but there's also tons of fun things to do, great hikes and stunning viewpoints - and they're all either free or cheap.

So instead of just taking a day trip to Capri, we encourage you to consider spending 3 days exploring the entire island. You won't regret it!

Here's the best way to spend 3 days in Capri to see and do it all: https://wherearethosemorgans.com/3-days-in-capri-itinerary/

Where Are Those Morgans?

Hi, we're Kristen & Mark! An 'American woman' and an 'Englishman in New York'. We put our scientific careers on hold in 2018 and followed our dreams to explore the world together as we embarked upon a never-ending honeymoon!

Growing up we were both lucky enough to travel, but we always had the itch to see more. After working in the corporate environment for almost a decade, we had a decision to make - work or travel? We certainly weren't getting any younger and the world was waiting.

Since making the life changing decision to temporarily throw everything we owned into storage and hang up our lab coats, we have traveled to over 30 countries across 4 continents together and we've never looked back.
