Position: Officer (Accounts and Procurement)

Location: Nowabenki, Shyamnagar, Satkhira
Project: Access to Safe Drinking Water for the Climate Vulnerable People in Coastal Areas of Bangladesh through Solar-generated Reverse Osmosis (RO) Water Treatment Facilities
Funded by: Adaptation Fund (AF) through Palli Karma-Sahayak Foundation (PKSF)
Key Details:
Duration: 1 year (renewable based on performance & project timeline)
Remuneration: Monthly consolidated BDT 40,000 (inclusive of taxes) + other admissible benefits
Age Limit: Less than 45 years
Reports to: Focal Person of the Organization
Basic Requirements:
Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in Accounting / Finance from a recognized university
Minimum 3 years of proven experience in financial management, accounting & reporting (preferably in a development organization in Bangladesh)
Experience in any partner organization of PKSF will get preference
Working experience in PPR 2025 will be an added advantage
Key Responsibilities:
Maintain books of accounts under IAS/IFRS & PKSF guidelines
Prepare monthly financial reports, budgets, bank reconciliations & annual financial statements
Monitor fund flow, disbursement & internal controls
Support audits, procurement processes & RO plant related documentation
Coordinate with PKSF’s PMU of Safe Water Project
Frequent field visits to monitor the RO Plant
