ছুটি মোট ১১ প্রকার। যথা:

১. সাপ্তাহিক ছুটি। (ধারা ১০৩) সপ্তাহে ১ দিন প্রাপ্য।

২. নৈমিত্তিক ছুটি।( ধারা ১১৫) ১০ দিন প্রতি পঞ্জিকা বৎসরে পূর্ণ মজুরিতে।

৩.পীড়া বা অসুস্থ্য জনিত ছুটি।(ধারা ১১৬) ১৪ দিন।প্রতি পঞ্জিকা বৎসরে পূর্ণ মজুরিতে।

৪.বাৎসরিক বা অর্জিত ছুটি।( ধারা ১১৭) প্রতি ১৮ দিনে ১ দিন। তবে চাকুরীর মেয়াদ অবিচ্ছন্নভাবে ১ বছর পূর্ণ হতে হবে।ছুটি ভোগ না করলে জমা থাকবে এবং বছরে একবার অর্ধেক নগদায়ণ করতে পারবে।

৫.উৎসব ছুটি।( ধারা ১১৮) ১১ দিন। কোম্পানি চাইলে বাড়াতে পারবে কিন্তু ১১ দিনের কম দিতে পারবে না।

৬. মাতৃত্বকালীন ছুটি।( ধারা ৪৬) ১১২ দিন ছুটি। সম্ভাব্য EDD তারিখের আগে ৫৬ দিন পরে ৫৬ দিন।

৭. বিনা মজুরিতে ছুটি।( ধারা ৪৬(২)বিধি ৩৮) দুটি সন্তান জীবিত থাকলে সুবিধা বা কোনো টাকা পাবে না কিন্তু তার প্রয়োজন অনুযায়ী ছুটি পাবে। বাৎসরিক ও অসুস্থ্য জনিত ছুটির সাথে সমন্নয় করার পরও যদি প্রয়োজন পড়ে। আর সেই ছুটি পাবেন বিনা মজুরিতে।

৮.গর্ভপাত জনিত ছুটি। বিধি ৩৮(ক).২০২২ সালে নতুন সংযোজিত। যদি কোনো গর্ভবতী গর্ভপাত ঘটে তাহলে ৪ সপ্তাহ ছুটি কাটাতে পারবে।এই ছুটি অন্য কোনো ছুটির সাথে সমন্বয় করা যাবে না এবং মজুরি পাবে।

৯. ক্ষতিপূরণ মূলক ছুটি। ধারা ১০৩/১০৪বিধি ১১৮(৩) বিস্তারিত ভাবে আলোচিত।

১০. পেশাগত ব্যধির জন্য অস্থায়ী অক্ষমতা জনিত ছুটি। ধারা ১৫০ (৪) ৫ ম তফসিল। বিশেষ বিবেচনায় ও মেডিকেল বোর্ডের সুপারিশক্রমে সর্বোচ্চ ২ বৎসর।

১১. বদলী ছুটি।( বিধি ১০৯) একই পরিবারের অধিক সংখ্যক লোক নিয়োজিত থাকলে একজনের প্রাপ্য ছুটি শেষ হলে অন্য জনের ছুটি ভোগ করার সুবিধা।
