Position Overview:
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented Financial Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of accounting principles, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively. This role entails managing financial records, preparing reports, and assisting with budgeting and forecasting.
Responsibilities:
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts on a monthly basis.
Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in accordance with GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles).
Understanding of sales tax principals required to file tax returns in compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
Assist with the implementation and maintenance of accounting software systems.
Stay informed about changes in accounting regulations and standards and ensure company compliance.
Perform ad-hoc financial analysis and reporting as required.
Full cycle accounts payable and receivable administration
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Certified Public Accountant (CPA)/CA/ACCA designation preferred.
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
Proficiency in accounting software (Must have QuickBooks Online & Desktop, Microsoft Excel, Optional - SAP, NetSuite & ZOHO)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
Strong command over the English language is a MUST.
Candidates should be comfortable working during EST and CST office hours.
