Dear Members,
We are excited to share that City Venue Management (CVM) has been appointed as the new operator of Logan North Aquatic & Fitness Centre, Beenleigh Aquatic Centre, Bethania Aquatic Centre, and Eagleby Aquatic Centre, effective 1 July, 2025.
What this means for Logan Swim School
Effective 1 July 2025, Logan Swim School will become part of Rackley Swimming, CVM’s nationally recognised swim school brand. Renowned for its excellence in aquatic education, Rackley Swimming is committed to developing water safety, confidence, and competitive swimming skills.
Cost
Rackley’s pricing structure and discounts for multiple lessons and multiple students is very generous and not to dissimilar to ours.
Benefits of Swimming with Rackley include:
Unlimited make up lessons
Free lifestyle hold, Up to 4 weeks free each year
Students swim free at any of our public pools
Sibling savings
Discounts starting from the third child
Free Baby Splash Program for infants from 3 months
Availability 7 Days a Week
You can expect a small price increase from 1 July and this will be communicated to you in the coming weeks. Please note that this would have occurred irrespective of the operator.
Staff
CVM are also working to recruit as many of the current Learn to Swim teachers and pool staff as possible. Ensuring your childs experience and developments remains comfortable. Their plan is to offer the exact same, day, time and teachers that you are currently attending.
Re - Enrollment Process
The new term will commence on 7 July with the new operators (CVM)
Your current enrolment process will remain the same and our team over the coming weeks will be working on assessing every level and child to ensure a smooth transition into Term 3.
Staff will be starting next term’s enrolment in coming weeks so standby for more information
Program
The current teaching program delivered by Logan Swim School will eventually transition to Rackley’s teaching curriculum. The swimming staff will accommodate each child to their appropriate class level,
Rest assured that the transition should have minimal impact on your current Learn to Swim experience. Staff from Rackley’s will work alongside our current staff for the final few weeks of Term 2 and they will continue operating under the same membership software as ours.
With this appointment, CVM will now manage all six aquatic and fitness venues in the Logan City Council region, including their existing operations at Logan West Aquatic & Fitness Centre and Gould Adams Park Aquatic Centre.
This transition reflects Logan City Council’s confidence in CVM’s proven expertise in delivering high-quality, inclusive aquatic and leisure services. Under CVM’s leadership, members can look forward to:
One membership, six centres – Enjoy full access to all Logan aquatic and fitness facilities.
Reciprocal access – Use your membership across CVM’s broader Southeast Queensland network.
Expanded aquatic programs – Enhanced Learn to Swim and Squad offerings for all ages and abilities.
Community health focus – More group fitness, wellness programs, and local events.
Sport development pathways – Investment in athlete and coach development, including support for the Logan Vikings Swim Club and a pathway to the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Further details regarding the transition of your membership will be advised in the coming week.
Should you have any concerns or questions, please send them through to [email protected].
We appreciate your patience during this time and look forward to welcoming you into this exciting new chapter.
Warm regards,
Logan Swim School Team
