One of the biggest misconceptions about confidence is that confident people aren’t scared.
They are.
The person starting the business?
Scared.
The person changing careers?
Scared.
The person speaking up, putting themselves out there, or chasing something bigger?
Also scared.
The difference isn’t the absence of fear.
It’s the decision to act anyway.
Courage isn’t something you magically find one day. It’s something you build through action.
Every time you take a step forward despite the doubt, despite the uncertainty, despite the fear, you strengthen it.
That’s why waiting until you feel ready rarely works.
Clarity comes from action.
Experience comes from action.
Confidence comes from action.
Courage comes from action.
Fear will always have something to say.
The question is: are you going to listen to fear, or are you going to listen to the part of you that wants more?
Get comfortable being uncomfortable.
That’s where growth lives.
