A Registered Psychologist role in Townsville, QLD πŸ‡¦πŸ‡Ί.

This one is a bit different. You are not walking into a fixed caseload. A well-established education and wellbeing provider in North Queensland is expanding their multidisciplinary team and the role is genuinely shaped around your clinical interests and experience.

That means variety across therapy, assessments, and report writing with children, adolescents, and adults. Scope to develop a special interest in child and youth psychology. Ongoing mentoring and coaching. A collaborative team culture that actually invests in its clinicians.

AHPRA registration as a Registered Psychologist is required. They want someone with CBT, ACT, and DBT competency, experience working with children and young people, and solid grounding in child development and psychological assessment. Family therapy experience is highly regarded but not essential.

Relocation assistance is available for anyone coming from interstate.

If this sounds like the right fit or you know a psychologist who has been looking for something like this, reach out directly or tag them below. πŸ‘‡

A GP role in Townsville, QLD πŸ‡¦πŸ‡Ί worth talking about.

This is a well-established, doctor-led practice with a strong patient base, full clinical autonomy, and a bulk-billing model that actually works. Dedicated admin and nursing support means your time stays where it should.

Full-time or part-time. Flexible hours. Teaching opportunities available if that is something you enjoy. And generous relocation assistance for anyone coming from interstate.

FRACGP, FACRRM, or FARGP required. Fellowship candidates on track for early 2027 are welcome to apply. VR GPs with 19AB restrictions are encouraged to reach out.

GPs with interests in family medicine, children's health, chronic disease management, or procedural work will find a lot to work with here. The patient population in Townsville has real variety and consistent demand.

If it sounds like the right fit, let us have a conversation. No pressure, just an honest chat.

A full-time early childhood educator role just opened in Samford, and it is worth a proper look if you have been waiting for the right fit. πŸ‘‡

This well-regarded early learning service is set in beautiful natural surroundings on Brisbane's northwest fringe, and they are looking for passionate educators across Certificate III, Diploma, and Graduate Diploma levels. Whether you are experienced in the sector or a Graduate Diploma-qualified candidate looking to start your ECEC career, they genuinely welcome applications from all three.

Here is what the role includes.

Competitive salary based on your qualifications and experience. Paid Child Protection, First Aid, and CPR training so you do not have to fund it yourself. Uniforms provided from day one. Childcare fee discounts for eligible staff. Ongoing professional development and training. Career progression pathways for the right person. And a centre culture built around quality education and strong team relationships.

A couple of things worth noting before you apply. Public transport in the Samford area is limited, so a current driver's licence and your own reliable transport are essential. Blue Card or Working with Children Check is required. Full Australian working rights are essential and visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Tag an early childhood educator in your network who should see this, or send a CV directly. πŸ“©

Two paediatric allied health roles just opened in Townsville, and neither one is sitting on a job board. πŸ‘‡

We are working with a well-established allied health provider in North Queensland to place a Speech Pathologist and a Physiotherapist into their multidisciplinary team. Both roles are paediatric focused, both come with genuine flexibility around hours, and both have relocation assistance available for the right person.

Here is what you need to know about each.

Speech Pathologist | Paediatrics
Working with children across communication, developmental, and swallowing needs in a purpose-built clinic. Full-time or part-time. $85,000 to $110,000 plus Super. SPA registration required. QLD Blue Card and NDIS Worker Screening needed. Strong communication skills and a family-centred approach to practice matter here more than a polished CV.

Physiotherapist | Paediatric Caseload
Paediatric caseload across clinic, community, home, and school settings. Flexible full-time or part-time arrangements. Structured mentoring, a generous professional development allowance, and comprehensive onboarding. New graduates are genuinely encouraged to apply. AHPRA registration required. Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screening needed.

This is a provider that actually means it when they say quality care comes first. The team has been built around that and the people who stay there tend to stay for a reason.

Townsville is worth considering on its own terms. Beaches, sunshine, affordable living, and a community that is genuinely welcoming. Relocation assistance is part of the deal.

Visa sponsorship is NOT available for either position. Australian working rights are essential.

920,000 registered health practitioners in Australia. Professional mobility at an all-time high. And yet most allied health clinics are still trying to solve a retention problem with a hiring solution. πŸ‘‡

Here is what the data actually says about what is keeping allied health practitioners in their roles in 2026.

The Federal Scope of Practice Review is clear. Early career health professionals are significantly more likely to stay when supervision is consistent and predictable, built into the working week as a given, not offered informally when a manager has time. The services with the lowest turnover treat supervision as infrastructure.

The Australian Workforce Retention and Attrition Project, which looked at nine regulated health professions across Australia, found that professional fulfilment and a sense of achievement are the primary retention levers. Providers who gave clinicians internal pathways to move between programs, caseloads, or sites without leaving the organisation saw retention improve significantly in 2025.

And the third thing, which costs nothing but gets skipped most often when hiring is urgent: tell practitioners what the caseload actually looks like before anyone says yes. The gap between the brief and the reality is where most early allied health exits begin.

If your clinic has refilled the same role more than once in the past two years, the brief and the working conditions are almost always the right place to start.

39% of Australian teachers intend to leave before retirement ❗️.

That number comes from AITSL’s June 2026 national workforce report. And if you are leading an education service right now, it is probably not a surprise.

What might surprise you is where the movement is actually happening and what is stopping it in the services that have cracked it.

It is not salary. It is three things that do not cost extra budget.

➑️ Administrative Load
➑️ Structured Mentoring
➑️ Honest Briefing before the offer.

The services with stable teams put the real version of the role on the table before anyone says yes.

Save this and share it with your leadership team before the next hire goes out. πŸ“‹

Handing out gold stars to the allied health clinics that does these right ⭐

The ones who verify AHPRA through the register before anyone starts, not from a document shown at interview. Who tell practitioners what the caseload actually looks like before day one. Who protect supervision time even when the week gets difficult.

The ones who started Q4 hiring in September instead of scrambling in November. Who check scope of practice before the offer goes out. Who recognise clinical wins and not just the billing numbers at the end of the month.

Not every clinic does these things. The ones that do tend to keep their people.

The gold star above all of them? Working with a recruiter who treats every single one of these as a starting point, not an afterthought. That is what working with Radical looks like.

Gold stars going out to the education centres doing it properly. 🌟

This one is for the centre directors who tell candidates the honest version of the role before anyone accepts. Who genuinely check in with new educators at the 30-day mark. Who verify teacher registration through the state authority rather than accepting a screenshot on a Friday afternoon.

And the ones who started the hiring conversation for this role before the last person handed in their notice. That takes a different kind of planning. It also makes everything less stressful.

The gold star above all of them though? Choosing a recruiter who treats every one of these things as a starting point, not a nice-to-have. That is what working with Radical looks like.

A brand new early learning centre in Blacktown is looking for its founding Centre Director and Educational Leader. Children aged 0 to 5. Full-time permanent. Monday to Friday.

What makes this one worth paying attention to is the setup. You are not inheriting someone else's team or someone else's problems. The centre is newly established, which means you are walking in with a blank slate by building the culture, recruiting the team, and shaping how the service grows from the very beginning.

The Approved Provider behind it is experienced, hands-on, and genuinely invested in the person they bring in. There is real autonomy here, a performance bonus on top of an attractive base, and free parking on site. Professional development is part of the deal too.

If you have been in early childhood leadership for a while and you are ready for something that actually challenges you then this is the conversation worth having.

Tag an early childhood leader in your network who should see this. πŸ‘‡
