We’re looking forward to welcoming Julie from Perfect Catering Co as our upcoming member speaker at the next Toowoomba Business Partners breakfast on Friday 19 June.

Julie is one of those people who instantly brings energy, warmth and fun into a room, with a remarkable ability to make everyone feel welcome and included.

Many people know her through her years in hospitality. After successfully building and operating a highly regarded café, she chose to focus her energy and experience entirely on Perfect Catering Co.

Today, the team creates exceptional food experiences across Toowoomba and the Darling Downs. Whether it's a corporate function, family celebration or special event, they are known for outstanding food, polished service and attention to detail.

What stands out the most, is not just the quality of the food, but the way people naturally gravitate towards her infectious enthusiasm and genuine care for others. Family, friends, clients and community all seem to be drawn to the warmth and connection she creates.

We can’t wait to hear more about her story, experience and passion with the team on Friday 19 June. Visitors are most welcome to join us.

We recently heard from Linda Back from Zest Natural Therapies at our Toowoomba Business Partners breakfast. What stands out about Linda is that she never stops learning.

After more than 14 years in practice, multiple qualifications and countless hours of professional development, Linda is about to commence a Master of Advanced Naturopathic Medicine. Her commitment to continually growing and expanding her knowledge reflects the genuine care she has for the people she supports.

I love how she described what she does so simply: ‘Give that to me. I'll put all the puzzle pieces together and make a plan.’

Many of the people Linda works with are dealing with multiple health concerns, conflicting advice and uncertainty about where to start. Her role is to help make sense of the bigger picture and create a practical path forward.

Another insight that really resonated was: ‘These symptoms might be common, but they're not normal.’

Whether it's fatigue, digestive issues, hormone concerns or other ongoing health challenges, Linda encourages people to look beyond simply accepting symptoms as part of everyday life.

What I admire most about Linda is her integrity, her genuine care for people and her commitment to continually evolving and growing in her profession.

Thank you Linda for sharing your knowledge, experience and passion with our group.

Thank you also to our wonderful guests, Catherine from Place Loom and Robbie from Light up the Darkness. It was wonderful learning more about both of you.

If you'd like to experience our community as a guest, we'd love to welcome you along to our next networking breakfast on Friday 19 June.

Welcome back, Scott! We're excited to welcome Scott Pearson from 1 Green Thumb Gardening back to our Toowoomba Business Partners team.

Scott was a member of our team many years ago and it's wonderful to have him back around the breakfast table.

What many people don't know about Scott is that his work goes far beyond mowing lawns and garden maintenance. His attention to detail is that of an artist. Whether it's a beautifully shaped hedge, a complete garden rejuvenation, ongoing property maintenance, landscaping, turf installation, paving, edging or creating an outdoor space that people genuinely love spending time in, Scott takes enormous pride in doing things properly.

His approach isn't a ‘mow, blow and go’ service. (Those are HIS words! 🤣) He genuinely cares about helping clients create and maintain beautiful gardens while educating them along the way.

One of the things I admire most about Scott is his humility. He is incredibly talented at what he does, yet remains one of the kindest and most down-to-earth people you'll meet.

Welcome back, Scott. We're so glad you're here and look forward to seeing your business continue to grow and thrive.

We’re looking forward to welcoming Linda Back from Zest Natural Therapies as our upcoming member speaker at the next Toowoomba Business Partners breakfast on Friday 5 June.

Linda is one of those people who instantly brings warmth, energy and genuine care into a room. She is highly experienced, incredibly knowledgeable and deeply passionate about helping people improve their health and wellbeing through a personalised and holistic approach.

With qualifications across naturopathy, nutrition, western herbal medicine, functional medicine and health coaching, Linda brings a remarkable depth of knowledge to her work. Her own personal health journey following severe endometriosis became the catalyst for the compassionate and proactive care she now provides to others.

What stands out most about Linda though is not just her qualifications or experience, it’s the way she genuinely listens to people. She takes the time to understand the individual, creating tailored support focused on long term wellbeing.

Pictured here with Bruce Murphy, this photo perfectly captures what TBP is all about, connection, relationships and community.

We can’t wait to hear Linda share more of her story, experience and passion with the team on Friday 5 June. Visitors are most welcome to join us!

Future Ready is not just about technology, systems or keeping up with change. For us, being future ready is about long term, trusted human connections. The sort of connections that develop through conversations, collaboration and genuinely showing up for one another over time.

That’s why Brendan and I do what we do. We believe every introduction has the potential to create opportunity, spark an idea or create something bigger in life and business.

In a world moving faster than ever, those real-life conversations matter more than ever. Shaking someone’s hand, sharing a conversation, exchanging business cards and walking away knowing you’d genuinely like to sit down for a coffee and learn more about them.

One day to go until ticket sales close for the Toowoomba Business Speed Networking Breakfast and we’re looking forward to welcoming another incredible room full of local business owners, leaders and community-minded humans.

‘Please do the good you can today.’ That simple but powerful message from Jules from Hope for Our Children captures the heart of the work she does supporting vulnerable children and young people in our community.

Jules shared the reality many children face when entering care, arriving frightened and overwhelmed with little more than a small bag of belongings, often separated from family, community and everything familiar to them.

Through Hope for our Children, Jules and her team provide practical support, dignity and comfort through their Bags of Hope program, which includes essentials like pyjamas, toothbrushes and comfort toys for children entering care.

One story that deeply resonated was of a little two-year-old girl who carried a unicorn from her Bag of Hope everywhere she went that day. Such a small gesture, yet in moments of fear and uncertainty, it can mean absolutely everything.

Jules speaks openly and honestly about the very real needs facing vulnerable children in our community and the importance of practical support from everyday people.

She is one of those people who genuinely lives the work she does, bringing warmth, heart and unwavering commitment to children who need safety, dignity and care.

Thank you Jules for sharing your heart, your story and the extraordinary work Hope for our Children is doing in our community.

We’re looking forward to welcoming many more wonderful humans into the room at our upcoming Toowoomba Business Speed Networking event on 22 May.

Anthony takes a practical approach to economic development, focusing on what actually works in the real world.
