Experienced Cook – Part time (Min 15 hrs)

•Aged Care Facility
•Ballarat Location
•Part Time- No split shifts!

BGT, on behalf of a local aged care facility are looking for an experienced cook for their kitchen to work a minimum of 15 hours. The position is to prepare and cook meals (breakfast, lunch, dinner and deserts) for approx. 60 residents. A Variety of shifts from 7am starts to during the day finish times. Occasional weekend work is required.

Candidate must have experience and be able to prepare and cook the large quantities as well as cooking deserts etc from scratch. This is a diverse role in which you will be the cook and in some shifts be a kitchen hand. Empathy and patience is a must within this environment as you are cooking and will have contact with the elderly.

The right candidate must have a Food Handlers Certificate and be able to work well in a team environment.
