🦺 Two opportunities to put your mining experience to work.

Labour Assist WA is recruiting Process Technicians and All-Round Operators.

As a Process Technician, your attention to detail will help the team track plant performance, recognise changes in the process and respond to production issues.

As an All-Round Operator, you’ll support daily site activities through material handling, loading and general duties, adapting as priorities change throughout the shift.

Both roles suit people who take pride in their work, communicate clearly with the crew and approach every task with safety in mind.

A warm welcome at Yugong Group, Zhengzhou 🇨🇳🤝

As we continue building international relationships and exploring new opportunities for Labour Assist WA and Labour Assist Asset Services.

The bouquet presented to Leonie 💐 was a beautiful gesture of hospitality and appreciation, a small moment that reflected the warmth of the visit.

Beyond the technology and the business conversations, it was also a chance to connect, exchange ideas and get to know the people behind the work. ✨

We’re preparing Labour Asset Services for its next stage of growth. 📈

Our time in China is about exploring new machinery and finding the right equipment to help us expand the services we can offer.

🇨🇳⚙️ China’s industry gives us access to some of the best machinery and technology available, and seeing it firsthand is an important part of planning what comes next.

For us, growth means more than expanding the business. It means creating more opportunities for people, offering more to our clients and giving our team the chance to grow with us. 🤝

It’s an exciting step forward for Labour Asset Services, and there is much more to come. ✈️🌏

Good morning, coffee first, notebook open… now we can talk. ☕😂

A typical morning at Labour Assist starts here, around the table, going through the details that help us get the right people ready for the right job.

CVs, tickets, availability, paperwork, upcoming jobs, client requirements… there’s always something to check, organise or talk through before anyone heads out to site.

Some days are all about recruitment. Others are planning, mobilisation and making sure nothing gets missed. Most days are a little bit of everything. 😅

It might not be the part of labour hire everyone sees, but it’s a big part of what keeps things moving behind the scenes.

A lot happens before someone is ready to step onto site, there’s a team making sure they are. 💚

Not every day on site looks the same, and some jobs definitely leave a little more evidence on the uniform than others. 😎💦

Our crew was out on site supporting cleaning activities around the plant, carrying out sentry duties and helping the work continue safely while different tasks were happening in the area.

Jobs like this are a good reminder that there is often much more happening behind the scenes than what you see in one photo. While one person may be completing the physical task, others are helping monitor the area, maintain communication, support the crew and stay aware of changing conditions around the plant.

It takes people who are prepared to get involved, understand their responsibilities and work together: even when the job gets a little messy.

And judging by the state of the uniforms at the end of this one, we’d say the team definitely got involved. 😂

🤓 Did you know?

Mining process plants can involve a wide range of hazardous chemicals depending on the type of processing being carried out.

Some of the chemicals that may be found or used in mining process plants include sulfuric acid, hydrochloric acid, nitric acid, caustic soda and sodium cyanide.

That’s one of the reasons why understanding the work area, following site procedures and knowing what may be present around plant and equipment is so important.

Five names worth keeping in mind… you never know when they might come up again. 👀

😊 Toa, from day one, your joy, your spirituality, and the way you appreciate the simple things in life made it easy for you to become part of the team.

Through your hands, your creativity, and the care you put into every meal, you brought a little extra happiness to the working days of so many people at Kirkalocka Mine. What you prepared was more than just food: it was something for people to look forward to and enjoy after a long day on site. 🥰

These are just a few of our people currently rostered across our clients’ sites. 👷‍♂️

And one of the best parts of what we do is hearing the good feedback that comes back about them.

🧐We look for experience and the right skills, of course. But that’s only part of it.

We want people who take pride in their work, who show up with the right attitude and who genuinely want to keep getting better at what they do.

Because when we put someone on a client’s site, we’re putting our trust in them too.

🤓And when the feedback comes back positive, we know we’ve got the right people in the right place. 💚

Our Labour Assist WA family is growing once again. 💕

A very special little arrival is on the way. 🎀

Every load may only take a few moments to move. But behind it are years of experience, planning and teamwork keeping the project moving in the right direction.

Did you know that Western Australia’s mining industry supports more than 136,000 on-site jobs? ⛏️

That’s more than a number. It’s thousands of people bringing their skills and experience to an industry that plays a huge role in keeping Western Australia moving.

We’re proud to be part of that workforce, because for us, mining has always been about the people behind the work.

And that’s where People Simplified comes in.

It means finding the right people and getting them where they need to be, fast, without complicated processes or unnecessary runaround. Our clients can focus on the shutdown ahead, while we take care of the people who make it possible.

The right people. Ready when they’re needed.

Every load counts. Every person behind it does too. 💚💛
