Interviewing Tip!
Checking out the company’s website before your interview is what everyone does. When I'm interviewing multiple people in a day and they're all regurgitating the same information from our website, it can get a bit boring. To really stand out, research a little deeper. Prepare a couple questions that demonstrate deeper thinking or your curious nature. Understanding who/what the company is all about sometimes means going further than just the website. Put in some extra effort and your research will help you shine at your interview!

Introducing Mrs Gina Hughes ( #1)

Gina has been nominated by Alexandra Hughes.

Gina arrived in Australia as a child, with no knowledge of the English language. Gina completed a law degree and did not take a day off uni for the births of her two daughters. She then went on to open her own successful law firm.

Alexandra says Gina inspired her throughout her whole life to work hard and be determined in every task she attempts. Watching Gina work through Alexandra's childhood also inspired her to embark on her own legal career.

Alexandra describes Gina as dedicated, fearless and inspiring.

Alexandra is so grateful to have such a strong, inspiring and dedicated woman in her life as a role model and as someone to look up to.

Job Hunting Tip!
You really wouldn't believe some of the email addresses I've received job applications from over the years. There's been a mix of almost obscene through to what I'll call 'too much information'.

These days it's really very simple to set up a professional email address, even if you only use it for your job hunting activities and it's very worth it. The last thing you want to be doing is giving a decision-maker the wrong impression of your application before they've even considered your qualifications and experience

Introducing Mdm Madeline Cheong ( #4)

Madeline has been nominated by Angel Ng.

Madeline had to give up school and help Angel's grandpa sell veggies at the market after her own mum's death when she was just 15. Madeline married Angel's dad thinking she had found love and security; only to find out she had married the biggest narcissist and sociopathic person she can find. Madeline was diagnosed with terminal cancer and died within 9 months when her life was just getting good.

Angel says Madeline was her everything. 'I am who I am because of her'. Madeline had the most positive attitude and always had a smile on her face and a dirty joke to make someone laugh.

Angel describes Madeline as a fighter, compassionate and giving.

Angel wants the world to know about this amazing woman who was her mother.
