Lucia partnered with Mondiale VGL to fill a niche Project Logistics BDM role - one that had been with another agency for months without success. It was our first Melbourne- based role with this client, and Lucia took the time to understand not just the job, but the business behind it.

Over two months, Lucia built trust by listening closely, navigating the complexity of their operations, and identifying not just candidates, but solutions. One of those candidates wasn’t the right fit for the original role - but Lucia saw potential. After engaging with the right hiring manager, she helped create a new opportunity in another division.

That moment of insight opened a door: the same manager then approached us with an Executive Assistant vacancy. Since then, four successful placements have followed.

Lucia’s story is a reminder that recruitment isn’t just about filling jobs, it’s about understanding people, businesses, and the potential that exists in between.

This World Environment Day, we launched a reusable keep cup swap station at our Melbourne Head Office - right in the heart of the coffee capital to help reduce single-use takeaway cup waste, one sip at a time.

Also, a big shoutout to our Brisbane team, who gathered an incredible collection of items for donation to Suited to Success - supporting people facing barriers to employment through sustainably sourced donations.

As National Reconciliation Week begins, we reflect on the enduring connection between land, culture, and community - and the importance of truth-telling in shaping a shared future.

This week, members of our Melbourne team took part in the Birrarung Wilam Walk with the Koorie Heritage Trust, walking along the Yarra river on Wurundjeri Country.

Guided by stories of resilience, innovation, and deep ecological knowledge we explored how First Nations peoples have long cultivated and cared for land, sea and community.

We’re grateful for the opportunity to listen, learn, and walk together. Thanks everyone who came along!
