FACTORY HAND
Duties & Responsibilities:
• Assemble aluminium frame doors and windows with accuracy and efficiency
• Cut aluminium material as per design specification
• Assemble flyscreen, window, and door components
• Assist with fabrication of windows and doors
• Assist with loading and unloading materials and products
• Assisting with delivery to site as and when/if required
• Assist with glazing units
• General workshop cleaning and maintenance
• Work collaboratively with the team to meet production targets and maintain high quality standards.
• Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge
• Identify and perform repairs or rework on defective frames and parts
• Contribute to a safe and inclusive work environment, respecting a diversity of cultures and backgrounds.
Requirements
• Previous experience in fabrication and assembly work is desirable
• Must be able to read and speak English to a functional level
• Demonstrate excellent teamwork skills and the ability to work cooperatively
• Punctual and reliable, with a strong sense of responsibility
• Open and adaptable to working in a culturally diverse environment
• Previous experience in the aluminium door and window industry is preferred but not essential.
SERVICE TECHNICIAN
Key Responsibilities, which are not limited to
• Conduct on-site assessments of our aluminium windows & Doors to identify any issues or repairs needed
• Preform professional installation of parts provided by the service administrator
• Carry out scheduled maintenance and servicing of existing windows and doors (company's product only)
• Troubleshoot and diagnose problems, and provide effective repair solutions on site
• Maintain a clean and organised work area and ensure proper disposal of waste materials
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing client concerns and queries in a timely manner
• Maintain detailed record of all work performed including parts used and time spend on each job
• Comply with all relevant safety regulations and company policies
• Collaborate with other team members to complete jobs within deadlines.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Service Technician or similar role in the glass and aluminium industry.
• Strong knowledge of glass and aluminium products, installation techniques, and repair methods.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Customer-focused attitude with good communication skills.
• Valid driver’s license.
